Projects

Talia Rose
My current creative output, Talia Rose is the name under which I write and release original music with voice and guitar, along with the occasional bass, drums, and piano.
The Talia Rubenstein Remote Big Band
During the pandemic, I've been working on remotely recorded pieces involving over 30 musicians. I also had the pleasure of performing in, engineering, and editing a 45-musician-virtual-big-band video for the Women in Jazz Organization, which can be found here.
"Placecard," featuring Roxy Coss, Lex Korten, and Christine Jensen
"Old Room," featuring vocalist Aubrey Johnson
Fassett & Rubenstein
Over the past few years, I've had the incredible privilege of collaborating with alto saxophonist Kacey Fassett. In 2019, we released an album of music inspired by books.

Solo Guitar
My first love as a musician was acoustic fingerstyle guitar. My latest project in this style is an EP entitled "The In-Between," available on Bandcamp. "Curiouser and Curiouser" is a tune from that album, inspired by a place called "The Fairy Shop" in Boston.
